Materials Needed:
-
Decal
-
Clean cloth or microfiber towel
-
Rubbing alcohol or soapy water
-
Squeegee or credit card
-
Masking tape (optional)
Step 1: Prepare the Surface
-
Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol or soapy water to remove dust, dirt, and oils.
-
Dry completely with a clean cloth.
Step 2: Position the Decal
-
Place the decal where you want it.
-
Use masking tape on the edges to hold it in place.
Step 3: Peel & Apply
-
Slowly peel off the backing paper, ensuring the decal stays attached to the transfer tape.
-
Carefully place the decal onto the surface, starting from one side and pressing down gradually to avoid bubbles.
Step 4: Smooth It Out
-
Use a squeegee or credit card to press the decal down firmly.
-
Start from the center and push outward to remove air bubbles.
Step 5: Remove the Transfer Tape
-
Slowly peel off the transfer tape at a 45-degree angle.
-
If any part of the decal lifts, press it back down and smooth it again.
Step 6: Final Touches
-
Allow the decal to set for 24 hours before exposing it to water or extreme conditions.
